We (my sister and I) are so excited for this year! So many amazing things are happening, not the least of which are Iron Man 3, PAX Prime, and Thor 2. We have decided that these occasions merit not only a great deal of excitement, but also clothes. Nerdy clothes.
We are not going to be doing cosplay, because that has been done. Instead, we will be wearing fashion-inspired outfits based on our favorite characters. Think, what Iron Man would wear if he were a girl and didn't feel like doing the whole armor thing that day.
I, of course, will be Iron Man for the premier of Iron Man 3 this May. My sister will be portreying the villain Doctor Doom. Yes, we know he is not in the film, but he is our favorite Iron Man villain, so he will be making an appearance anyway. In November I will be wearing an amazing Thor-inspired outfit and Kate will rock Loki, the role she was born to play. Yes, that's right, I just called my sister a Norse god of chaos. If you know her you would understand.
We could not be more excited for these events, and are thrilled to be able to share with you the bits and pieces we find as our outfits come together. Let's go!
